JFK, 1991

Director: Oliver Stone

This was a tough movie to get into at the start. With the yellow-hazed filming style and drawn out plot, it took me two takes of renting to finally get through the film.

Overall, though, after watching it in its entirety, it met the expectations that it is acclaimed for.

I already loved Kevin Costner previously, and his portrayal of the Defensive Attorney’ Garrison, was phenomenal , like a lot of his roles . I think what I loved most about the movie was how insightful it was, and though a fictional story itself , a portrayal of historical and non -fictional events.

“JFK” was a very thought – provoking film that invited me to entertain the validity of realities imparted on us by others and recognize that the world we may know isn’t entirely as it may seem. What baffles me though , is the events in the movie actually played out and with what knowledge did come to light, the same systems still exist…

A recommended movie by for , for a citizen of America and any person looking to have perspective on political systems.
