This a composite that was taken for the student government position I hold at NMSU. And may I say it’s been an experience I’m undoubtedly grateful for.

As I begin to wrap this semester up, my college career, a reflection of what was is always prompted.

From the time we are young paths are set before us, whether that be by peers, family, or even society itself .

We live under this delusion that the path to come must be laid out, it has to be paved. We have to have all of our i’s dotted and t’s crossed. Does that have to be true? It does not. But, is there beauty in uncertainty, letting your path unfold? There is.

Dwell not on the foresight of a future you cannot even see, instead relish in the idea of footprints you are leaving behind- the path that is being created upon each footstep.

Looking at my own trail, I’ve got some pretty sweet footprints, haha! And I’ll just keep on stepping, unaware of the path, but letting it unfold as I go baby.
