While most of us would never choose pain, adversity, loss, disappointment, or uncertainty, these experiences are part of this thing we call life—the human experience.
So what are we to do with them?

Because although pain is inevitable, we can cultivate a resiliency that allows us to move toward growth rather than avoidance, healing rather than bitterness, and strength rather than surrender.
