The older and older I get, really I’m only 24 haha, but I find that or I have come into this idea of seasons.

The current season I find myself in, if the picture is not explanation enough, is one of joy, relationships and just really good vibes. Life is good. I have really good friends and I’m just kind of in this state of having fun, being a little wild, and creating what I believe will be some fond memories.

But, as great as it sounds, I have also existed in a season of isolation, quiet nights and uneventful evenings. And, though not too deep of a void, there existed this longing for a void of disconnection to be filled, as I felt, though self imposed, very isolated.

And so I titled this piece “Seasons” because I think we can get too caught up in wherever we are currently at in the moment, I know I have.

For some of us that looks like loneliness every weekend, the world and everybody else looks as if they lead lives of ecstasy and excitement, while we have this inner void that longs to be filled.

For some us that looks like ecstasy and excitement. We do lead lives of fun, adventure and wonder!

But either way, what matters is not the current state of life we are in but rather the recognition we must come into to understand that each state is finite. So, in the moments that are amazing let us live in them and enjoy it! And for those that aren’t, let us recognize that this to will pass.

Life is a mirror to seasons and as summer, winter, spring and fall come and go. So to, the stages of life.
